Below-Knee Prosthesis

Lower Limb

This type of prosthesis is for those who
have an amputation below the knee. It is made
of four main parts that work together to help you walk.

  • The Socket
This is the most important part. It is the "sleeve" where your leg fits into the prosthesis. It is custom-molded to your shape so it can carry your weight comfortably.

  • The Liner
A soft, protective layer that you wear over your leg before putting it into the socket. It acts like a cushion to prevent rubbing and ensure a snug fit.

  • The Tube (Pylon)
A strong, adjustable rod that connects the socket to the foot. We adjust this to make sure the leg is the perfect height for you.

  • The Prosthetic Foot
The part that touches the ground. We offer different types, from basic feet for stability to "carbon fiber" feet that give you more "spring" in your step.

Above-Knee Prosthesis

Lower Limb

For those with an amputation above the knee, the device includes a mechanical knee joint. This joint is designed to act like a real knee helping you stand safely and walk smoothly.

The prosthetic knee is what powers your movement. It helps you bend naturally to
sit and keeps you steady while standing. We offer different options based on your lifestyle.

  • Safety-Lock Knees
Built for maximum stability. These are the best choice for preventing falls and feeling secure while standing or walking slowly.

  • Mechanical Knees
Simple, reliable, and lightweight. These are great for consistent walking speeds and everyday durability

  • Hydraulic Knees
These offer a smoother, more natural swing. They automatically adjust as you speed up or slow down, making your walk feel more fluid.

  • Microprocessor (Computerized) Knees
Our most advanced technology. These use "smart sensors" to read the ground, helping you navigate hills, stairs, and uneven paths safely and effortlessly.

How We Make It Stay On (Suspension)
To make sure your prosthesis feels like a part of you and doesn't slip, we use different "suspension" systems

  • Pin-Lock
A small pin at the bottom of your liner that "clicks" into the socket for a very secure hold.

  • Vacuum Systems
Advanced technology that pulls the leg tight to the socket for the best possible control.
